Tackle the Hills for Autism Awareness at Rainbow Omega

We invite you to "Tackle the Hills" at Rainbow Omega for our Challenge Walk for Autism Awareness. You'll walk alongside individuals served by Rainbow Omega after the official starter for the walk gives the word to begin around 9am.

We are honored to have Oxford Police Department Chief Bill Partridge as this year’s official walk starter.

Have fun with us as we tackle the hills on our campus together while tackling some of the communication challenges of autism. Proloque and Proloque2Go software will be purchased with funds raised. This software provides alternative tools, systems and strategies to aid in more confident and expanded communication.

OXPD will be at the walk with information about The Blue Envelope Program as well as their Special Needs Alert Program (SNAP).Whether you're walking for a loved one, a friend, or to support a more inclusive community your presence matters more than you know.

Participants registered by April 6 will receive a 2026 "Tackle the Hills" Challenge Walk t-shirt. All participants will receive a finisher’s Tackler’s Medal at the walk.

Cost is $35.
